General session times are :
9am - 12pm
1pm - 4pm
However sometimes it is necessary to integrate the child into our services slowly.
So service times may be adapted to meet the age and ability of the child.

Children are required to attend the sessions in shorts, or jog pants and t-shirts, or to bring clothes with them so as to change. This facilitates their independence in self care and is comfortable and unrestricting for the daily routine which they follow. For safety and comfort during the programmes, children should not wear jewellery.

Children are asked to bring a snack with them. The Rainbow staff will give advice on how children can be helped to eat their meals at home. If the child is attending the Legacy Nursery, then children will be asked to bring a packed lunch along with them.

It is mandatory that we are informed of children who are unable to attend a session. Failure to inform us on three consecutive occasions may result in the loss of a place that term. Places are limited with waiting list of children who would benefit from attending our services.

Collective worship is said on appropriate occasions eg, Harvest Festival and Christmas. Parents can withdraw their children from these activities if they wish. Rainbow House draws children from a range of cultural backgrounds and we give the opportunity to develop positive attitudes towards all people and their rights to hold various beliefs.

Rainbow House operates a no fee basis, however parents are asked to give a voluntary contribution on entrance. If the applicant cannot make this contribution this will not affect their attendance to the Rainbow services. Charges will be applied to The Legacy Nursery services, fees for this service will be available in January 2007.
