In 2003 Rainbow House was recognised by the NHS Primary Care Trust, having received monies from their trust for three years that partially funds for one of our specialist teachers known as Conductors. The objective of their donation was work in their communities, allowing voluntary groups to demonstrate excellence in their communities. The founder of Rainbow House was also recognised in 2003 as a Winning Woman for the North West, gaining television recognition and a celebrity Patron Dr Chris Steel.

In 2004 Rainbow House gained national recognition, with the founder Joe Mawdsley winning the Wonder Mum of the Year Award with GMTV, ASDA, P&G and The Sun. Appearing on National Television GMTV and This Morning Television, again gaining celebrity Patron Wendi Peters. International Award with the Cosmetic Company Clarins as their Most Dynamisante Woman 2004, gaining £30k enabling Rainbow House to open two further centres in Cumbria and East Lancashire.

In 2005 Rainbow House grew immensely employing 7 new staff and expanding their services into new areas. Aiming to open a centre of excellence known as “The Legacy”, and in order to reach this goal, have to raise £550k on top of the £250k we need to sustain current projects. Moto Company whom is part of the Compass group chose to support Rainbow House in this year. In 2005 Mrs J Mawdsley was also runner up for The Beacon Fellowship Young Philanthropist of the Year Award, which she says was an honour as the persons that won this category included Jamie Oliver and Sir Bob Geldof.
