Rainbow House will receive over £25,000 from funds raised at a dinner held in the presence
of Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal, President, Carers Trust at Park Lane Club, Mayfair,
London recently.

The Mawdesley based conductive education centre benefited from the joint event
with Carers Trust who also received a similar donation. The two organisations entered into
a partnership last year to support each other through the sharing of information,
experience, joint funding opportunities and the ability to broaden and strengthen their

Rainbow House provides conductive education to those with neurological conditions and,
working in a family centred way, supports unpaid family carers whilst Carers Trust is the
largest provider of comprehensive unpaid carer support services in the UK.
Through the partnership Rainbow House gains a national perspective from Carers Trust
which is extremely beneficial to the regional charity whilst the work Rainbow House does
supporting unpaid family carers assists Carers Trust in forming its policy in this area.
