The proceeds from The Rotary Club of Southport Link’s 27th Bus-Am golf tournament will be donated to Rainbow House.
This highly successful golfing charity event is now in its 27th year having donated over £65,000 to various charities in its 26 year history. Last year’s recipients were the Alder Hey Children’s Charity who received a £5,000 donation.
It is hoped that the event will again raise a five figure sum and this money will be used to support Rainbow House.

Carole Cochrane, Chief Executive, Rainbow House said,
“Rainbow House is delighted that we have been chosen to be the beneficiary of this year’s Bus-Am Golf Tournament. The support will make a real positive difference to our work and to the lives of our beneficiaries.
Our charity receives no statutory funding and the support of organisations like the Rotary Club of Southport Links is fantastic and makes such a huge difference to our funding and to the people who use our services. We cannot thank them enough.”

The main sponsor for this event will again be the Southport based company Premier Wealth Management. However the Rotary club are looking for sponsors for prizes and tees as well as hearing from anybody who is able to get the amount raised match funded by any one of those companies who match fund charitable causes.
The date for this year’s event is Friday 21st April and will again be held at Hesketh golf club. Entries for the 27th event are now being taken. Team entry costs £380 per team.
