Preston North End Football Club have announced that they will continue their charity partnership with Rainbow House for a second year. The conductive education centre based at Mawdesley will benefit from a range of activity such as match day collections, sportsman’s fundraising dinners and support from the players at future events.

In addition, the U18 Academy team’s shirts will carry the branding of Rainbow House and Carers Trust.

Rainbow House works in collaboration with Carers Trust, a former Preston North End charity partner, who provide support for young and adult carers.

Carole Cochrane, CEO at Rainbow House said: “We are delighted that Preston North End have decided to continue the charity partnership for a second year. The support of the management and players last year was fantastic and made such a lot of difference to our funding and to the people who use our services. We are looking forward to working with them all again this year.”

Kevin Abbott, finance director at Preston North End added: “Preston North End has
a strong tradition of working closely with local charities and beneficial community events and the work with Rainbow House last season was a rewarding partnership for both parties. We are delighted to be able to continue the relationship and look forward to assisting on projects and events to raise further, much needed, revenue and profile for this fantastic charity.”
