News : JMW show their support
JMW Solicitors LLP have announced that they have become an official corporate supporter of The Legacy Rainbow House.
Staff from JMW will be taking part in various activities to raise much needed funds for the charity over the next year including the Rainbow Ramble in May, which is an 18 mile walk through the Lancashire countryside. Other activities will include dress down days, cake bakes, raffles and numerous sponsored runs.
JMW’s 20 strong clinical negligence team will also spend a day helping out at The Legacy, assisting staff in classrooms and participating in general maintenance tasks such as painting and gardening. The aim is that the team will get a hands-on opportunity to find about the charity and its work.
JMW are supporting The Legacy Rainbow House as part of their corporate social responsibility initiative for 2010.
Commenting on the sponsorship, Eddie Jones, Partner and Head of Clinical Negligence at JMW said;
“We are very pleased to have become corporate supporters of The Legacy Rainbow House, which is an important cause that does tremendous work with children, and their families, who have neurological problems. Having visited the charity myself I have seen at first hand the wonderful work they do in rehabilitating and educating the children that attend the centre. All the staff at JMW are looking forward to working together in order to raise as much money as possible over the next year for the charity and many are already in training for the 18 mile walk in May.”
